Obama's Lie to Support Jews in Israel
Sometime when I hear politicians speak, I want to throw up. On Thursday, Barack Obama pledged his support of Israel at an event sponsored by the Israeli Embassy. At a celebration marking the 60th anniversary of the Jewish state in Washington, Obama said, `I pledge to you that I will do whatever I can in whatever capacity to not only ensure Israel's security but also to ensure that the people of Israel may thrive and prosper and build on the enormous promise that was made 60 years ago... So it is critical that we send a message around the world, we will stand with Israel, we want them around not just for 60 years but for 600 years and when I am president of the United States they will have an unwavering ally in me."
Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and John McCain also pledged their support of Israel, but in light of Obama’s incessant daily promises to cut and run from Iraq, his pledge to support and defend Israel has to go down in history as the biggest political lie since Hitler shook Stalin’s hand in 1940 and pledged his support to the Soviet Union.
This brings up many questions about Obama and his future policies, should he be elected President:
If the U.S. pulls out of Iraq, will it jeopardize Israel?
Does Obama see the inconsistencies between his campaign promises and his promises to the Jewish community?
Is there a connection between Israel and us being in the Middle-East?
Does the Jewish community understand the implications of Obama’s campaign promise to immediately leave Iraq?
Why haven’t those in the Jewish community condemed Obama’s promises to leave Iraq?
This is the sort of mistake one should expect from a political novice who isn't thinking things al the way through to their logical conclusion. It highlights Obama's lack of experience and demonstrates he is unqualified to be president.
Israel, as well as the American Jewish people know only too well what the consequences would be if we pulled out of Iraq. They haven't made a lot of noise about it because right now it doesn't matter. If Obama actually gets the nomination there will be an outpouring of support for McCain that will shock the DNC.
Obama's smooth but empty talk in generalities have enamoured him with those voters who lack critical thinking, but once they start looking deeper and listening to the more experienced and intelligent experts who will surface during the fall campaign, minds will be changed and the votes will follow.

I'm not sure who is the more brain dead, Obama for making such an outlandish claim at a pro-Israel rally, or the Jewish voters who support and campaign for Obama.

“If the U.S. pulls out of Iraq, will it jeopardize Israel?”
One has to ask if North Korea would have remained as restrained, excepting their periodic border shenanigans, if the U.S. military and intelligence wasn’t south of the DMZ.
Israel and the American Jewish community very likely have wisely kept a low key about Obama’s “interesting” opinions, beliefs, and promises and chosen to stand back and watch. In turn they have avoided alienating themselves while letting Obama do that to himself.

It's my understanding that all of the candidates were invited, so what else could Obama say. He couldn't very well say, "I'm pulling American troops out of Iraq on day one of my presidency, so you damn well better get used more terrorist attacks in Israel."

The anti-war freaks have never taken time to (or they don't care) ponder what happens to Isreal once the terrorists realize that our leftists don't have the guts to let this country stay and fight. And since the left controls congress, the media and our entertainment industry, whatever they want is what will happen. Does anyone really believe that our turning tail and running will cause Iran to abandon its ambitions of "wiping Israel off the face of the Earth"? Does recognizing Hamas, al Qaeda and Hezbolah cause them to abandon those same amabitions? Wake up mush brained liberals. The future of the free world is on the brink and you're giving our enemies more help than they ever could have dreamed of. When we go down in flames you'll be the ones standing there holding a match.
