Obama and the PC Police
Hillary Clinton, as expected, trounced Barack Obama by a 2- 1 margin in the West Virginia primary last night. Probably the most interesting thing to come out of this primary is the spin that is coming out of the Obama camp. Obama’s spinmeisters, CNN, and the mainstream media are hinting the reason Obama lost West Virginia is because the state is inhabited by working class whites (code for a bunch of inbred Jethros who are clinging to their guns and their religion). It’s interesting to note that Fox is the only network that questioned the fact that Obama pulled in 92% of the African-American vote in North Carolina. The not-so-subtle racist charge is intended as a warning for potential voters in the remaining primary states who intend to vote for Hillary. CNN and other networks are reminding voters that it is not PC to vote for the white candidate. How could you? Shame on you? The PC police are watching you.
This message, of course, is intended to carry over to the general election; however, allegations of racism, no matter how subtle, can backfire. Americans are weary of the likes of Sharpton, Jackson, and the Reverend Wright.
Questions:
Does Hillary stand a chance of winning the Democratic nomination?
Can Obama deny her the VP spot if she wants it?
Oregon is perceived as a white, working class state. The populace are 95% white and the primary industry is logging. Obama wil garner a margin of victory in Oregon at least as wide as Clinton got in W. Virginia. That will lay waste Hillary's contention that Obama can't get the white votes he'll need to win the general election. The mainstream media will trumpet the Oregon results and help Obama get the nomination.
Most people won't know that the logging industry was put in the toilet by the econuts and large numbers of loggers have left the state to seek employment; and a huge percentage of Oregon voters are transplanted hippies from California, retirees from California and university students from the most liberal biased university system in the nation. The DNC is going to have a bloodbath battle over who is most electable and, as usual, will most probably shoot themselves in the foot by letting PC rule the process. I don't see how Clinton could ever bring herself to play second fiddle to Obama...that is, unless she thinks something may happen to him along the way.

Hillary is done. Obama won't pick her for a running mate, because he can easily make the case to the DNC that she has more negatives than positives. This election will be very PC, and the PC police will be at the ready to smear anyone or any organization that criticizes Obama.

Since Jesse Jackson first burst onto the scene we've been deluged with allegations that whites are unfair to blacks, discriminate against blacks, are to blame for all black problems, imprison blacks far more than whites, and on and on. The media, entertainment industry (movies, TV and music) have pounded this message down our throats daily for 30 years. These libs tell us we should all feel guilty for our inhumane treatment of blacks for the past 300 years. Thus this so called "white guilt" was born out of this hogwash and is fueled by black "leaders" because it makes them rich. (How about extorting corporations). Blacks fuel it because it keeps the gov't checks rolling in and keeps them from having to get an education and/or go to work. As a side benefit, the black males can impregnate as many women as they want and never have to pay child support. How's that for a deal!

A statistician would say that Hillary Clinton does not stand a chance of winning the Democratic nomination. Senator Obama was not heretofore well known and has a scant track record to trip him up on the way to the nomination. Absent some obviously disqualifying incident in his past, Senator Obama will get the nomination.
It does not appear that Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama like one another. I doubt that he would want her as a running mate and in turn I doubt that she wants to be the VP candidate. If such should occur it would not be the first time that politics has made strange bedfellows. The most recent example of that is the LBJ/JFK marriage of convenience.
