Global Warming - Fact or Myth?

I think most of us accept the fact that our planet is growing warmer - and this has been going on for many years.  Recently, we took a cruise to Alaska, and we cruised up into one of the inlets to view a beautiful glacier.  The naturalist who was with us commented that the glacier had receded some 30 miles in the last 200 years.  This started me to thinking about global warming in general -- and why was the glacier receding before our era of major industrial pollution.

Scientists agree that at one time the Sahara was a rain forest. Kansas was at the bottom of an ocean.  The earth has gone through at least two ice ages.  This all happened before industrial pollution and auto exhausts.

Question:  How much of the current global warming trend is due to industrial pollution?  Wouldn't Global Warming occur anyway, regardless of what mankind does to stop it?  Does mankind even have the technology to stop it from happening?

How Do We Take Back Our Country?

Recent polls show the average citizen is fed up with politicians who promise change then deliver the same old business as usual.  While the differences in candidates may appear substantial when they are running, once the candidate is elected there is often buyers remorse among the voters after one or two years.

Question:  Are the current crop  of politicians  running for office  the best that this country has to offer?

Nearly a billion dollars was spent by Democrats and Republicans in the last presidential campaign.  The nearly 8,000 registered lobbyists showered candidates with money once they entered the final stretch.

Question:  How can the American public break the stranglehold of the special interest groups who fuel the candidate's campaigns with their money?
